Privacy policy

CediForge Academy (“we”, “us”) runs cediforge.academy. This policy covers the website, classroom, blog, payments, and email at support@cediforge.academy. Using the site also means you accept the terms of use.

1. Who we are

We are an educational platform for Ghana hustles — pre-orders, ecommerce, content, dropshipping, marketing, and freelancing. See about us. For privacy requests, email support@cediforge.academy (Monday–Saturday, 8am–8pm GMT) or use the contact form.

2. What we collect

• Account: name, email, optional phone (MoMo), password hash, role, and classroom access dates when you register.
• Learning: worksheet answers, quiz results, lesson progress, and tutor or live-coach messages.
• Payments: Paystack references, amounts, and status. We do not store full card or MoMo PIN data — Paystack does. See their notices and our refund policy.
• Support: messages you send to support@cediforge.academy or the contact form.
• Technical: pages you open, referrer, and a visitor id if you allow analytics cookies (see cookies).

3. How we use it

• Create your account and keep you signed in
• Open the classroom after Paystack confirms payment
• Send login, payment, and abandoned-registration reminders you would expect
• Reply to support, refund, and privacy requests
• Improve lessons and the site — with analytics only after you accept optional cookies

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments (Paystack)

Checkout runs on Paystack. They process MoMo and cards and return a reference we store against your account. Chargebacks and refunds follow Paystack plus our refunds and returns page. Questions: support@cediforge.academy.

5. Cookies

You choose cookies in the banner on first visit. You can change that anytime via Cookie settings in the footer or by writing support@cediforge.academy.

• Necessary: cf_session keeps you signed in. Light/dark mode is stored in your browser (cediforge-theme), not as a tracking cookie. Cookie choice itself is stored locally (cediforge-cookie-consent).
• Analytics (optional): if you accept all, we set cf_vid so we can count unique visits on the admin desk, and we may load extra header/body tags the academy has configured (for example a search or ads tag).

“Necessary only” still lets you learn, pay, and use the classroom. It just skips visit counting and optional scripts.

6. Who we share with

• Paystack — to take and verify payment
• Our hosting and email provider — to run cediforge.academy and support@cediforge.academy
• The lesson tutor provider — prompts you send in class, to generate replies
• The law, if we are required to

7. How long we keep it

Account and payment records stay while the account is open and as long as Ghana tax or dispute rules need them. You can ask us to close an account and delete or anonymise what the law allows. Analytics visitor ids are not used if you refuse optional cookies.

8. Your rights

Under Act 843 you can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or object to optional analytics. Email support@cediforge.academy from the address on your account. We may need to confirm it is you. You can also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.

9. Children

The classroom is aimed at adults running a hustle. If you are under 18, only join with a parent or guardian. If we learn we have an under-age account without that, we will close it.

10. Changes

We will update this page when the product changes. The date at the top is the latest version. Older versions are available on request from support@cediforge.academy.
